Detailed description of Crankan Farm

The Farm House dates from 1810 but has recently been modernised with the aim of introducing modern comforts whilst preserving the traditional charm of Cornish construction. Our B&B double bedroom is newly constructed and is decorated in a contemporary style with the vaulted ceiling providing a light, airy and roomy touch to the comfort provided. Our bed linen is carefully chosen for that feel of luxury essential to a good night’s rest after a day relaxing on the beach or even hiking along the rugged coastal path. There is a television in the room with a DVD and Video player to add to the relaxation and a large selection of films is available to view free of charge. The bedroom also benefits from an en suite wet room. Breakfast is continental in style, with a selection of breads, cheeses, preserves yoghurts and fruit and cereals all locally sourced and organic wherever possible and according to what is in season. The bread is often home made and the eggs are fresh from our own free range hens. If there is anything left after breakfast, guests are welcome to take what they like for a packed lunch. By special arrangement additional accommodation can be made available for larger parties.
