Lower Crankan Farm Location
Lower Crankan Farm nestles in the sheltered valley of Newmill and is a working small holding with a small nursery and small herd of Pedigree Belted Galloway cattle and several horses. We have a pedigree flock of hens too, of various breeds. Newmill is found approximately 2 miles north of Penzance on the road to the north coast, and so is ideally situated both for town and access to the many amenities to be found in this area of outstanding natural beauty. The farm is situated on ancient land. Our field structures date back thousands of years and we have the ruins our own Cornish Long House and Hut Circle on our land.
Treplevna Cottage Location
Boscaswell village is located in Pendeen, half way between St. Just and St. Ives. Penzance is 6 miles away. The Pendeen coast line is one of the most dramatic in Cornwall and the coastal path is only a 5 minute walk from either house. The area was once home to Cornwall's mining industry and the last working tin mine, Geever, now a museum, is visible from the front of the cottage. Treplevna and Berrymede Cottage are both ideally located to provide ready access to all local amenities and beauty spots. There is a regular bus service that stops two minutes away from the cottages with services into St. Just and Penzance mainline train station.
